FAQs

Here you will find the answers to your most frequent questions.

  • Where is the departure point?

The Lazy Day Cruise offers two convenient departure points, allowing guests to choose the location that suits them best:

    • Vlicha Beach – departure at 09:10 (approximately 5 minutes by car from Lindos)
    • Kalathos Beach – departure at 09:25, in front of the Atrium Palace Hotel sunbeds

We kindly recommend arriving at your selected departure point 5–10 minutes in advance to ensure a smooth boarding process.

  • Do you offer transfer services?

For your convenience, we also offer hotel pickup before the cruise and drop-off after the trip, available at an additional cost.

Please contact us at least one day in advance to arrange and confirm this service.

  • What is the difference between the daily Lazy Day Tour, and the Private Tour?

    • Our daily Full Day Tour is a shared experience with up to 24 guests, lasting approximately 6 hours and operating on a fixed schedule to ensure all planned swimming and sightseeing stops are visited. The tour includes a 1.5-hour lunch break in the seaside village of Haraki, giving you time to relax, swim, or enjoy a local taverna.

    • Our Private Full Day Tour follows the same beautiful route and destinations but is designed for a smaller, pre-existing group, offering a more exclusive experience with a flexible itinerary. Private guests can enjoy a relaxed pace, personalized timing at each stop, and a tailor-made day at sea.

    • The Private Sunset Tour is ideal for pre-existing groups seeking a shorter yet exclusive experience at sea, with a duration ranging from 2 to 4 hours. These private tours offer a flexible itinerary, tailored to the chosen tour length. The 2-hour and 3-hour private tours focus on the stunning Lindos coastline, perfect for swimming, relaxing, and sightseeing, while the 4-hour private tour follows the same route as the Private Full Day Tour, visiting the same highlights and passing by Haraki Village on the return journey.
  • Is there lunch included during the Full Day Tour?

Lunch is not included in the tour price, but the itinerary features a 90-minute stop in the picturesque seaside village of Haraki.

During your free time, you can enjoy lunch at one of the local tavernas, restaurants, snack bars, or mini markets, or you’re welcome to bring your own snacks on board and relax by the sea.

  • What should one bring along on the cruise?

    We offer free use of:

    • Snorkeling equipment
    • Pool Noodles/Life Vests
    • Motion Sickness Tablets
    • Toilet

    We would recommend bringing:

    • Phone/camera
    • Swimwear
    • Towels
    • Hat
    • Sunscreen

Bringing your own snacks or drinks on board is absolutely welcome, allowing you to enjoy the boat tour at your own pace and comfort.

  • In booking in advance necessary?

While we also accept walk-in guests, booking in advance is always recommended to guarantee a spot.

Here you may find various alternatives for bookings.

  • We would like to book a Private Sunset Tour, for more than 10 people. Is it possible?

For Private Sunset Tours with 10 or more guests, please contact us directly for a personalized quote.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Due to limited seating on our boat, last-minute cancellations significantly affect our ability to operate. For this reason, the following cancellation fees apply:

    • Due to non-refundable payment processing costs, all cancellations will incur a minimum 5% fee, even if cancelled immediately after booking. This amount covers transaction and processing charges that are applied at the time of payment and are not returned to us when a refund is issued.
    • 50% cancellation fee for cancellations made 3 days or less before the scheduled tour.
    • 100% cancellation fee for cancellations made 1 day or less before the scheduled tour.

No cancellation fee applies for cancellations made more than 3 days in advance.

  • Is there shade on the boat?

The boat offers both shaded and sunny areas, allowing guests to relax comfortably throughout the journey.

Guests can choose between shaded seating or sunny areas, ensuring comfort whether you prefer to relax in the shade or soak up the sun.

  • Is there music playing / Can we play our own?

Traditional Greek music plays throughout our trips, perfectly complementing the atmosphere, scenery, and classic style of the boat.

On our Private Boat Tours, guests are welcome to connect their own music to the onboard speakers and create a personalized soundtrack for their experience.

  • Do we stop for swimming? If so, how many times and how long?

Our scheduled stops are as follows:

    • Navarone Bay (15 minutes)
    • Red Sand Beach (30 minutes)
    • Agathi Golden Sand Beach (10 minutes)
    • Haraki Village (1.5 Hours free time)

For inexperienced swimmers, our stops at Red Sand Beach and Haraki Village take place close to the shore, making it easy and safe to dip your toes into the water if you wish. Pool noodles and life vests are provided for added comfort and confidence.

  • What happens in case of bad weather?

Weather conditions are monitored closely in the days before each tour.

If conditions are unsuitable, the tour will be cancelled and guests will be offered to reschedule or receive a full refund.

We try to inform our guests as early as possible.
